A safe place to call home is an important part of the release process for a squirrel. It is important that any house you provide for your baby is sturdy and provides not only shelter from the elements, but also predators. An improperly built house can become a place for you baby to be cornered by a raccoon or other predator. These plans provide enough room for babies to safely ride out a visit from a predator. There is also a block that keeps the unwanted visitor from reaching in and grabbing them.
